What person in their right mind would want an Ambassador class starship as a coffee table? Give me an Oberth or a refit constitution or something, but the Ambassador? Not even fit for an end table.
Hey now, the Ambassador was an excellent ship and an example of Starfleet’s transition from twenty-third century ship designs like the Excelsior class to more modern designs like the Galaxy class.
Plus, the Enterprise-C’s act of self-sacrifice defending a Klingon outpost against Romulan attack helped foster lasting peace between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. Boom.
